Then there’s a CA state champion now Ames High School heavyweight, Daniel “Peanut” Herrera.
Then there’s national top 5 Dreshaun Ross with a chance to solidify his spot.
And then there’s a slew of lower weights where Iowa is scattered throughout the top 20. The most interesting here might be freshman Dawson Youngblut.
In any case, I expect some deep runs by multiple kids, with a couple causing a stir into the semis.
