Following up on the end of season rankings, we have the first edition of the Spring. This includes Folkstyle Nationals, NHSCA, Reno, and Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic results. There hasn’t been a ton of movement, obviously. But, there has been some. And a few new names scattered throughout, whom I will highlight here.

I decided I am going to treat Folkstyle and Freestyle as the two separate styles that they are. That means, two separate rankings based on entirely separate sets of results. For these rankings, no freestyle results count. For the upcoming freestyle rankings, similarly, none of these results will count.

So, let’s look at the changes made for this update.

1. Guys who were out for the season finale are mentioned. If they still haven’t competed, they’re “out” or “injured” but placed aroud where I would expect them to be once they do return. Someone like Dorian Olivarez who has been competing, is now in.
2. Season records and state placements are gone, replaced by Spring Wins and Spring Losses.
3. Wins and Losses now include the specific score/result.

This figures to be the final folkstyle update for months, so let’s look at who is new to the mix and setting the table for the Fall.
